New Zealand GOLD
Project Category: Development
-
This project consists of 248Ha; Located 5klms from Town; Road access to two sides; Mains Power; Town Water, Communications, Large Dam; and is only 100klms to the City of Dunedin and its Port.
Major Drilling has been undertaken – up to JORC standard.
Geologists estimate about 500 million cubic metres of gold bearing ore could be located at the deposit. (This tonnage may be conservative).
Records show gold grades were variable, with very high grades of up to 60g/m3 reported. Rich gold grades have also been found in pyrite.
A sample of the pyrite-rich ore assayed at 30 ounces of gold per tonne. The gold in the pyrite significantly increases the gold grades in the resource. (It is believed the original miners in the district did not recover the pyrite, and it probably still exists in tailings).
Full reports & drilling details available, however a NDNC agreement is required. A Joint Venture arrangement would be considered. -
Total Resource Estimate (M+I+I): 500 Million M3+
